XJY-706 TMDSO is soluble in organic solvents such as aromatic hydrocarbons/petroleum hydrocarbons but is insoluble in water. It is a versatile silicone intermediate and is usually used as a silicone end-capping agent. Because the molecular structure contains active hydrogen atoms, copolymer polymers can be synthesized through a hydrosilylation reaction to make a series of active silicone oils with various functional groups.

Application

 

TMDSO is a hydrogen-terminated siloxane dimer, which contains a hydride group that provides a reaction site for TMDSO. Therefore, in combination with thermal or metal catalysts, TMDSO can react with various substances containing vinyl or hydroxyl functional polysiloxanes.

 

XJY-706 TMDSO can be used in

1. the synthesis of polysiloxane containing faculties end groups (such as block silicone oil, etc.).

2. the preparation of high-performance silicone surfactants.

3. the production of many products. Such as the addition of silicon rubber, silica gel, hydrogen polysiloxane and plastic, resin modifier, dendrite polymer special additives, etc.

1,1,3,3-Tetramethyldisiloxane is a silicone derivative, which is the main reason why it can be used as a monomer to prepare silicone polymer or silicone resin. It can be used as an intermediate to prepare other silicone compounds. TMDSO is also used in the preparation of non-aqueous polymers and laboratory reagents. In organic synthesis, it can be used as an effective reducing agent for platinum-catalyzed reduction of carboxyamides to amines and Au / TiO2 catalyzed hydrosilylation of carbonyl compounds (such as reduction of aldehydes or ketones) relative to monohydrosilane. In addition, using indium bromide (InBr3) as a catalyst, TMDSO can also brominate carboxylic acids directly.

Atomic layer deposition (ALD) is a chemical self-limiting deposition technique based on the continuous use of gaseous chemical processes. It needs to find molecules with sufficient reactivity to produce the required film, but can maintain sufficient stability to be handled and safely transported to the reaction chamber.
